Lyrchat Privacy Policy

Welcome to Lyrchat ("Lyrchat," "we," "us," or "our"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we handle, why we handle it, and how we protect it when you use the Lyrchat mobile app.

1. Information We Handle and Why

A. Photos You Choose to Upload

Lyrchat's core feature is AI scoring for photos you voluntarily select.

Data type:

• The image you choose from your device.

Purpose:

• To analyze the photo and generate a score, tags, and a short comment.

Important note:

• Lyrchat only handles photos that you intentionally choose. We do not access or scan your full photo library.

B. Optional Post Content

If you add a caption before publishing, Lyrchat handles that text so it can be displayed with your post inside the app.

C. AI Analysis Results

When a photo is scored, Lyrchat displays:

• A numeric score.
• Short tags.
• An AI-generated comment.

D. Limited Technical Data

When AI scoring is requested, our service providers may receive limited technical information such as IP address, request metadata, and device or network information as part of standard internet communication and security operations.

2. AI Processing

Lyrchat uses a trusted third-party AI provider, SiliconFlow, to process selected photos and generate AI results.

When you request scoring:

• The selected photo is sent to SiliconFlow for processing.
• The response is used to generate the score, tags, and comment shown in the app.

3. Data Security

Data transmitted between the app and third-party services is sent using standard encrypted network connections such as HTTPS/TLS.

No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we take reasonable steps to reduce risk and limit data handling to what is needed for the app's core feature.

4. Storage and Retention

In the current version of Lyrchat:

• Posted content and AI results are displayed inside the app and stored only for the current app session.
• We do not maintain a permanent cloud-based post history for you in the current build.
• If the app is closed, restarted, or updated, session-based content may no longer be available.

If future versions introduce persistent accounts, cloud sync, or longer-term storage, this Privacy Policy will be updated before those changes take effect.

5. How We Share Information

We do not sell, rent, or trade your photos or personal content to advertisers or data brokers.

We share information only when necessary to operate the app, including:

• With SiliconFlow to provide the AI scoring feature you requested.
• With service providers that help support security, hosting, or app operations, if needed in a future version.
• When required by law, regulation, legal process, or to protect rights, safety, or the integrity of the app.

6. Your Choices

You can control how your information is handled:

• Do not select a photo if you do not want it processed.
• Do not use AI scoring if you do not want the selected photo sent to SiliconFlow.
• Do not enter a caption if you do not want optional text shown in your post.
• Delete the app to remove locally stored app data on your device, subject to iOS system behavior.

7. Children's Privacy

Lyrchat is not intended for children under 13, or under the minimum age required by local law in your jurisdiction. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

If you believe a child has provided personal information through the app, please contact us and we will review the issue.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time if our features or data practices change.

If we make material changes, we will update the Effective Date above and publish the revised version before or when the new practices take effect.
